You are correct as long as the system has a way to send you video. Either by creating a hotspot through your cellular service or having its own cellular internet card.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. This live and recorded footage can be played back while connected to a monitor without an internet connection required. If you will have a need to remotely access your device using the Swann Security application, your device will require a hardwired connection to your network.
