“The specs say it is ethernet yet the pic shows BNC connectors and everything I see in these questions says the system itself is analog. Maybe ethernet is possible over 2 conductor shielded coax?? I've always used Cat 5 or 6 for ethernet.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Billy, Yes it is an Ethernet connection but for communication only. The cameras are BNC connected, but you can always buy a BNC and power balun, to convert to cat5e, or to your cat preferences. Baluns are only found on internet websites.
