“Will you clean my iPad before putting on a new shield? I've had my iPad for a while and would like the existing shield removed and a new one put on. Apparently having an insanely clean, no dirt, no dust, no lint screen surface is key for the shield to be applied correctly and look great after it's on. Cleaning the iPad is not listed as one of the Geek Squad screen installation steps. ??”

We will! Part of the installation process is making sure the screen is dust and smudge-free.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just ask or make sure you get someone who know how to install the shields correctly. I heard you can ask for someone that is zagg certified to do it for you. They should wipe down and clean screen of dust smudges and all that during process.

It's formulated for the Oleo phobic coated screen of iPhone and iPad and comes with a microfiber cloth. Please do not use any household product including window cleaner. Hope that helps you.
