“Can the Tablo be placed any where ? or does it need to be wired to the internet router?”

• We recommend an Ethernet connection However, if this is not possible you can connect our 4th Generation Tablo via Wi-Fi.

• It has WiFi & an Ethernet connection. I’ve used both, but the wired ethernet connection makes app loads and such more responsive. The antenna placement is most important, so I’d place it where you get the best signal and then use Ethernet if you can, WiFi if you can’t.
