Can it record cable shows null

Not sure, it's designed for Over The Air TV. Not sure it can pull a cable TV guide, needed to schedule recordings.

Our 4th Generation Tablo records over-the-air TV and most of our streaming channels. However, it cannot record programs that play outside of it, such as cable TV.
