The Tablo comes with necessary cables, such as ethernet and HDMI (if you get a model with HDMI support). You would only need extra cables if what they provide isn't long enough. The setup is really easy: 1) Download app -> open app -> follow instructions for ethernet or wifi setup (their instructions were simple with some pictures; and this is where you'd need the ethernet cable if you're connecting to your router by wire instead of wifi) 2) Your antenna should have a cable with a round end that you plug into your TV. You would disconnect that cable end from your TV and connect it to the Tablo device instead. 3) If you want to use the app on mobile devices, say, then you can move to the next step; however, if you need to connect the Tablo directly to your TV, you'd have to ensure the model you get has an HDMI connection. In this case, you would connect one end of the HDMI cable to the Tablo and the other end to your TV's HDMI connector. 4) At this point, the app will want to set up your antenna. It displays a compass, along with a button to get help. If you press the button for help, the app will show you a map of where the TV stations are in relation to your home. You can turn about with your phone to see which would be the best direction for your antenna to face to get the most stations. (Note: my antenna was pointing completely opposite to where the local stations were, yet the Tablo app found 88 stations for me! Whether they're all going to be clear, I don't know yet, but I tried a few right after setting up, and the viewing quality was excellent!) 5) Once your antenna is set up, the app will start downloading the first 24 hours of "the guide" - the list of channels and what shows are currently available. Then, you're done! The guide will continue downloading in the background, so leave the app open - but now, you can start watching shows in the app, or on your TV if your Tablo has the HDMI connection. The whole thing takes maybe 15 minutes, is easy to do, and no additional cables are needed - again unless the one(s) that come(s) with the Tablo are too short, say. If you're using the wifi instead of ethernet, you won't even need that cable. And, if you're using your own antenna, it should already have the correct cable - you just need to move it from the TV to the Tablo.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just connect the Tablo to the power supply and the antenna. You can connect to your house network with a cable (if you have one handy) or via WiFi. Run a channel scan and pick the channels you want to have on your schedule grid. To actually *watch* the shows on your TV you will need a streaming device. Roku is supported as is the Google Chromecast. In addition there are apps you can use to watch on your phone / tablet (but not computer)
