This device has an ethernet connector. You would need to run a second ethernet wire to your router. If it wrer me i would buy a ethernet switch 4 port and plug your main connection to the port and run the second cable from the port to the tablo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With a $25 gigabit network switch at the far end of your house it could. TP-Link makes a nice 1000 (gigabit) speed unmanaged switch for sale on BestBuy. Plug the long internet cable into that. Then get two more Ethernet cables to run from that switch to your two other devices… the Roku and the Tablo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My Tablo works great via WIFI. I have never connected ethernet to it, but I imagine it'd be even better. I am guessing your Roku won't work off of WIFI so if you connect the ethernet to the TABLO your other apps won't work on the Roku. You may want to consider a Mesh Wi-Fi extender that has an ethernet output. I have a TP-Link Deco W2400 which is about 6 years old that does, and I have connected my TIVO to the internet that way. What you are essentially doing is putting in a second router. which is best way to distribute the internet signal. If you really want to "share" the ethernet cable I would check with Tablo. Even their chat CS people are awesome. Remember your TABLO needs to be connected to an Antenna and have internet. It doesn't have to be anywhere near a television. That's the whole purpose of it besides being a very good DVR. Hope this helps. Steve S.
