TABLO is a virtual DVR that enables you to watch and record over-the air channels it picks up when it scans. I have ROKU STICK plus TABLO. ROKU does give you the option to download/subscribe to a streaming service (at your cost) - example HULU. - offering tiers or add-ons that include NFL and BIG TEN. If your goal is to eliminate the expense of cable and streaming services - as was mine - that option might not be appealing.
