Will this work for a HP Elitebook 8570P Laptop? null

Yes it will work. It works both in my USB three port and my regular USB port so you don't even have to have the USB three for it to work it just transfers data a little bit faster that way. All you need is a PC with USB.

As long as you have a USB port most of the features will work without issue. If you have a USB 3 or 3.1 port you can use all of the features without issue. It does take a little time to install it from the base. And the drivers are automatically installed without your intervention. There are a few applications available from Targus that are somewhat helpful with a laptop. Your mileage may vary depending on what you want to use it for. It is a DisplayLink device and ive had no issue with it since I installed it
