This does not have Gsync or Freesync. What it has is standard VRR, which is part of the HDMI 2.1 specification. What this means, is that this TV requires a video card that supports HDMI 2.1 in order to do VRR. For Nvidia, this means an RTX 3080 or higher, and for AMD, an RX 6800 or higher. Anything lower end won't support VRR with this TV. It is possible that lower end cards may be refreshed with HDMI 2.1 support in the future, but no guarantees. And anything below the current gen will never support it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2020 TCL 635 55" DOES have VRR and tru motion 240... But does not support v sync or g sync which are owns by AMD and Nvidia respectively...... It will work fine with a PC unless you are a super competitive gamer... In that case you may be disappointed... As monitors have MUCH faster refresh rates than any TV .... The newest TCL I am however impressed with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 6 Series Supports the open standard Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for excellent performance with game consoles and gaming PCs. Proprietary standards for variable refresh rate are not supported. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
