Sales Guy at best buy told me a series 4 has less frames shown per minute than a series 5 and a series 5 then has less frames than a series 6 However unless you want to watch stuff in slow motion you will never see the frames per minute with the naked eye. I have a series 4 and it works great. They will recommend a series 6 if you watch sports games a lot as those are fast pace and will show up clearer. I do not notice any difference when I watched them side by side at the store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both series include a built in Roku operating system, 4K UHD, and HDR Support. The 6-Series builds on this and has additional features such as Dolby Vision, wide color gamut, HDR Dynamic Contrast, CCZ technology and a brushed metal cabinet. You can also visit www.tclusa.com/products/home-theater/6-series and scroll down to "Compare All Models" to see all models compared. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
