“Does the eARC function on this TV allow for 7.1 PCM playback on a receiver? I haven't been able to get this question answered anywhere.”

• Yes from what I have been reading the av in converts to older analog or just use the eArc and let the receiver do the rest of the work, I have a older onkyo receiver and use the av in to rca and work’s fantastic. Can’t go wrong with this tv it’s awesome!!
