• Idk if you still want to know, but cmi is a fake refresh rate in which software is used to make your eyes see 120hz when the tv is actually 60hz. So your assumption is correct.

• Ryan, On this TV the native panel refresh rate is 60Hz. What your eyes see is the CMI rate, which is indeed 120Hz.
