• Hello Mike, thank you for your question and interest in model MEDMCW31WS. The oven vent is located along the top and bottom of the unit. Warm air may be released from the vent before, during and after cooking.

• It is ventless. Because it uses electricity, it has no toxic to vent out. It vent through the space on top of the door.
