“If my tidal subscription is fully cancelled and the time has run out on it before I purchase this, will it work on my current account? I plan to get this and cancel the auto-bill right away and then just repurchase after the year is also up.”

You can but you have to manage your subscription on the Best Buy website or app. Just use the code, or buy it and save it until your ready. But when you use it, go to Best Buy.com and find your subscription details. It says in the menu in tidal to go to a link too if it’s hard to find.

I had a Tidal account that was inactive when I purchased this. I was able to to add it to my old account. It says it will auto renew at the end of the one year term. I got this since it will also connect to my tesla. Look at the other plans Best Buy offers, I don't need the master sound quality (I can't hear a difference). So I think I will change to the, TIDAL - HiFi Family, 12-Month Music Subscription starting at purchase, Auto-renews at $119.99 per year. Since I can share that plan. With the Family plan, you can have 6 users that each can use 1 device in online mode and 5 devices in offline mode simultaneously. (Copied from Best Buy page) I hope this helps you. You can't beat this price for Tidal.
