• The 2018 version of the title has replaceable batteries. When purchasing the item will, box to verify that you have the right version. On the back of the box you'll see a picture of the front of the tile and then you will see a picture of the back of the tile which is great and you can see the slot where the battery is replaceable also if you purchase the titleMate the SKU RT-13004 I hope this helps
