• No, this is not designed to track living things but rather to locate your keys or other inanimate objects you may frequently lose track of.

• Not in my experience. I tried to use to signal my son at pick up time. Didn't work a single time. It star beeping just when I'm already with him. So, not powerful, not reliable in my experience.
