“Since the app has to be open all the time for the tile to find lost items, what is the impact on phone battery?”

• Right now I have an iPhone 5 and I just checked the usage for Tile app and it says 1%, same as Shazam, less than my library app. Hope this helps.

• It runs off Bluetooth. It does not seem to have much impact on my battery.

• If you keep the app open, it’s only going to drain 5% the entire time. It uses Bluetooth, so if you are in that distance where you last left your item, you should be fine.

• I haven't found this app to be any more extra draining on my phone battery than any other app. YMMV with your phone, however.
