No. Not at all. This spits out water nonstop and there’s no option to spit out more or less water. You can choose “light, regular, or deep” for mopping, but it will determine how much water to shoot out and when. Your carpets and rugs will be SOAKED and this unit will be hard to push. Not even sure how well the vacuum part will work as it’s not suited for anything but hard floors.
