Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on your question, I would say no. The system has physical filters located at the top of the collection tank. Clean water or water/cleaning fluid is sprayed onto the floor and the roller brushes the wet floor surface then the vacuum removes the excess water and particles from the floor to the collection tank. If I remember correctly there is a float built into the system to prevent overflow of the collection tank before it hits any filters. Like any similar system, you have to empty and clean the collection tank and from time to time clean or replace the filter components. There is a limited self-cleaning cycle also built into the system.
