“When viewing live tv channels the guide shows no channel info and no program description for most of the channels but if I choose a channel it is there. This is on channels that I regularly watch. How can I add that info to make it easier to navigate?”

The Live TV channels are listed alphabetically. To hide the Live TV channels you don't watch for faster navigation use the included Voice Remote, press the Home button, then select Settings > Live TV > Channel Management > All ; scroll to highlight the channel you do not want to watch and Press the Play /Pause button to Hide the Channel.
