The reason it doesn't show on a higher picture quality is because those channels you are watching are only HD, not UHD. They have not started broadcasting in 2160p yet. Direct tv has 3 4k channels but they cost extra and you have to have a 4k box from them, not just one that is compatible. However Netflix has all their programs they made broadcasting in 2160p. The technology just hasn't made it to that picture yet with cable and satellite companies. Xbox One S also projects games in 2160 if you turn the quality to 4k. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That's the highest signal the HD channels are putting out. You need a higher resolution source that a blu-ray or 4k blu-ray player to experience all the tv has to offer.
