The picture is very big. The sound is very deep. It is a smart tv so i get more of the hd programming, more than i had previously believed i could get.

Absolute great bang for your buck! The price was just right. Perfect size for bedroom, 4k, and Chromecast built in which I love by the way. There are better deals out there now for better name brand 4k tv with bigger size but like I said....GREAT STARTER 4K tv for the price of I believe $299.00 at the time. If you're not into chasing after the newest toys then buy this! I highly recommend buying a wall mount. It really adds to the viewing experience. I give it 4 stars only because there's better deals on 4k tv's now and chromecast is also upgrading in software which means your stuck with this Chromecast model for length of tv duration. Overall great tv!!!

It is the lowest price 4K TV I can find. TV picture looks very good to me. Also notice the contrast level is not as high as other TV I have. It also comes with ChromeCast, which is sometimes useful for casting computer or android screens to share. The main purpose I bought this TV was to use as a large laptop monitor, and its low price was really attractive. I was able to connect to my laptop using HDMI up to 4K@30hz. Not sure if it is limited due to my laptop or the TV. Sitting only 2 feet from the TV, texts does not look great but acceptable. Thick lines and shapes does not look solid which is a concern. And the most obvious visual problems are horizontal fine lines or light color lines, they became dotted lines. I believe it is either due to pixel density not high enough for real 4K or its arrangement is not horizontal and vertical like others. It became annoying after short time using it. I returned it, thank Best Buy for its return policy, and bought a Samsung 40" 4K at a higher price, which I do not see these visual problems at the same resolution and sync rate. If you also want to use this TV as 4K monitor, look for something else.

I bought this tv during Black Friday and actually got it down $20 more a few days later because it went on a deeper discount. So, about the tv, i love that it came with a sturdy stand so right out of the box I didn't have to mount it. The picture quality suits my needs for just watching Netflix and Sling with my family. As an owner of two Rokus, I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the Chromecast feature, but it is pretty cool. You have to put apps on your phone, so if there are a lot of apps that you'd want to cast from, then that could be annoying having those take up space on your phone; I just have four so it's not too bad. And this is my first Toshiba, and it seems on par with my Sharp and Panisonic. If you can get this tv for less than $300, I think you'd feel good about the purchase, assuming you buy it before the technology evolves again and this type of tv becomes undesirable because there is something more advanced.

Wanted a second TV for the bedroom and this fit the bill nicely. It has a decent picture out of the box and with a little tweaking the picture is quite nice. The chromecast has been working well, and it has great OTA picture quality when used with my no name antenna. Decent sound too boot! Catch it on sale like I did and you wont be disappointed. One thing that drives me nuts, the red light when the TV is turned off, (mentioned elsewhere in these ratings) but I think some black electrical tape should cure that.

The picture quality is fantastic. Setup was easy once the instructions could be removed from the box. As others have stated, the remote is basic. This TV was being connected to an external cable box with its own remote. The cable remote was easily programed to the TV.

I’ve own this TV for about four years now and I have very little complaints about it. I love the features and the size is perfect - not too big not too small. Great picture quality and great features especially the Chrome Cast built in. Multiple HDMI ports and inputs. If I had to mention a con, I would say that I wish it had dedicated buttons on the TV for the volume. It has a joystick type buttons for access the menus, power, and TV controls. The remote is also great and also has a chrome case button on it. You can also modify the picture and sound custom settings or just use the pre-installed profiles. Overall a great 4K television and very satisfied.

This Toshiba has a very clear picture, is easy to setup, has Chrome cast built in, along with several others providers which means you won't have to plug an adapter into the TV, it will connect to your router for streaming, you still have to hook up the coaxial cable for the TV channels though. There is a way to make your cell phone the remote, but I haven't done that yet, and the remote that came with it was very basic, so I purchased a universal remote and use that. All in all, I think if you buy this you will be happy with your purchase.

I snagged this TV at 299 USD, when it is normally at 399 USD, so it was a great bargain. Its a good size for a small room and has 4K and Chromecast so that makes it all the more a steal!

Love the features and the 4K. Looks very sharp when hooked to a full 4k player. Value was great too.

The built-in Chromecast is a great add on for the TV. I use it a lot within my household. The picture quality is excellent. The sound is good though I feel it could be a bit better. Add speakers or a sound bar to make it better. When setting up the built-in Chromecast for the first time, be patient as it could take a while. Also, you might run into something not working correctly like I did and have to go through the entire set again.

The primary reason I purchased this TV is because of the built-in Chromecast (AKA Google Cast, AKA Google Home), which works perfectly. Having the Chromecast built-in leaves all three HDMI available for other uses. The digital tuner works well; however, the remote does not have a numeric keypad. Picture quality is excellent; audio is satisfactory. During set-up, be sure to connect the Ethernet cable before connecting the power cable or it will not work. I learned this from Toshiba customer support, as there is no instruction manual. To say that this is a good TV for the price would be selling it short; this is a good TV, period.

This TV's picture is INCREDIBLE. I didn't think the 4K would make that much of a difference but it's a GIANT difference. I play a lot of games on the PS4 and you can tell the difference there as well. The TV automatically upscales so you get even better quality with games. During high action scenes in games, there is a very slight blur in periphery images. Basically, the stuff that isn't the focus of the scene might blur just slightly. But outside of that, this is a great TV for shows and for gaming. The remote that is comes with is good but DON'T LOSE IT! The TV does not have buttons to change channels.

Easy set up. The chrome cast is great for my extra programs it is convenient. Like better than using Roku. The picture quality is excellent.

Great screen size. Picture is sharp. Sound is nice. Google ready which I love. Super simple set up. Great price!

I researched for weeks to find the best quality TV with a great size and great price and this TV was it! Amazing quality with loud speakers and Chromecast comes in handy. YOU DO NOT NEED A 4K CABLE FOR 4K, just make sure to have a 4K device! Highly recommend this product! Make sure you have a wide enough space to place the TV since the legs are far apart! Buy this TV now!

TOSHIBA and QUALITY have always gone hand and hand. Now, you can get one for just $350 with the Elite "L Series" (E.g. 43L....) from Best Buy! Don't be fooled by other manf's who just inundate you with advertising on a constant basis; trust a company like TOSHIBA AMERICA* who's been around since 1875...not 1975, 1875!! (Vs. Vizio who "JUST" began making products about 10 years ago...hence the reason their TVs are riddled with MAJOR Problems...namely, they often break after just one year...just when the warranty expires...I'm NOT making this up: there 1000s and 1000s of such complaints on Google! TOSHIBA's ONLY problem (and what has hurt their laptop business who was the VERY FIRST MASS-MARKETED laptop made back in the late 19702/early 80s!) is that they build them to LAST A VERY, VERY LONG TIME. THE PROBLEM: THEY DON'T SELL AS MANY TVs as other manf's b/c their products JUST LAST...THAT SIMPLE! Note, though their 4K are NOT currently shown on their NEW UPDATED Website, they DO SELL THEM EXCLUSIVELY for the time-being with BEST BUY! YOU MIGHT EVEN HAVE TO ORDER ONE BUT IF YOU CAN WAIT 2.5 DAYS, It's worth it! I ordered mine on Monday after lunch and had it Wednesday! The construction of this TV is great! The remote has minimal functions which my be disappointing to some. I use the TV as a computer monitor and it serves this purpose well. The picture quality is fantastic. I only wish it had a higher refresh rate but then I would expect to pay more for it.

I got lucky to have this beautiful smart tv. I was attracted to the affordable price, build in chrome cast and 4K resolution. A good crisp experience watching the tv. Only down side is the tv remote it needs to be improved, channel surfing is a pain, otherwise no Complaints till now.

This is a great 4k TV for a gift, and on sale too! My lady friend's TV was going out, and so I bought her this one-- we had it picked up at the store and then brought it to her house to install. Within minutes everything was working-- she saw that the picture was AMAZING! This was her first HD and 4K TV, and she couldn't believe the picture even on regular discs--- she always tells me she LOVES her new TV!
