Q: How wide is this TV?

A: The width of the TV is 38.1 inches.

Q: Does this tv have HDMI ports? If so, how many?

A: There are three HDMI ports included.

Q: Why does the tv say only 2160 in 4K???...shouldn't it say 4000?

A: 4K display has to consist of at least 3,840 pixels (horizontal) x 2,160 pixels (vertical) of resolution and the horizontal can go above 4,000 pixels. This puts it on the top of the current scale of digital resolutions in which the bottom is occupied by standard definition TV (450X540 pixels), HD with 720 pixels and full HD at 1080p. So, 4K's 3840 x 2160 pixels provides 4 times the number of picture elements (pixels) as that provided by HD's 1920 by 1080. The industry has been using the number of horizontal lines of a display as a standard of comparison: 720p, 1080p, and now 2160. "4K" is just a a convenient and catchy term to approximate of the number of vertical lines of resolution and market the improved picture technology. In simplest terms, if you measure HD resolution by vertical pixel height (720p, 1080p) then 4K UHD can also be called 2160p. As you can see, 4K outstrips its best HD predecessor by a very wide margin in creating a resolution profile that’s two times wider and two times higher than 1080 HD, thus giving a total screen resolution that’s a bit over 4 times larger overall, thus its name, 4K ultra HD.

Q: I am using the 43L621U with the Xfinity Cable Box on HDMI 1. When I turn on the TV it goes to the Cast screen and I have to select HDMI 1 all over again. How can I get it to default to HDMI 1?

A: You are forced to configure chromecast or you will always go to setup. It requires either an ethernet connection of wireless.Once it is configured it will always go to the HDMI setting on start.

Q: is it wireless Bluetooth ready. I have wireless bose hdphones

A: Nope, this won't connect to your headphones.

Q: Does this model come with everything I need? If not what do I need to purchase?

A: This tv requires a cellphone or tablet to access the "smart tv" functions. There is no apps menu on the tv. It's clunky, so I would recommend a 4K Roku box.

Q: Is it a smart tv ?

A: This TV appears to ONLY stream via Chromecast (Google Cast) and does not connect directly to the internet via installed apps, as I would expect from a 'smart tv'. So I would say this is NOT a 'smart tv', but is Chromecast compatible.

Q: Can you use Netflix without going through cromecast....I don't want to have to link it to my phone for Netflix...

A: basically the way chromecast works is projecting video from apps that support casting. so its more so a "anyone can join the party" kinda caster where you can start a youtube video on your ipad and interupt it with a movie on your android or whatever. just depends on what you are pointing at the chrome cast to be casted so its not tied to one device hope that helps
