Not really, Internet streaming says your need a 10mb service to work, and also 5ghz works better so, you should be OK if you have these 2 options..also, I believe, if you are on a mobile device and cast, you MUST be on the local network. If you want to to know your internet speed, check Ookla's Speed Test online.
