• Yes - it has both! I am using the jack for my sound bar and I control everything with one remote!

• The TV has 3 HDMI ports, and optical and 3.5mm audio output. The TV volume isnt that bad to be honest, but I can see why you would want to run the audio through a sound system. Bass is nearly non-existent. Otherwise, audio is decent.
