“My tv is a model 55LF621U19 and it was working fine the first few days but a couple days after Netflix wouldn’t work so I did a factory data reset and now when I try setting it up the remote doesn’t work all it does is turn the tv on/off”

I recently went out of town for a few days and experienced this same problem. Try unplugging the TV for at least 30 seconds and plugging it back in. This did the trick for my situation and the remote started working fine again with full function.
