IT IS NOT THE TV, IT CAN ONLY RUN WHAT THE SIGNAL THAT IS RUN INTO IT, MOST WEB SIGNALS ARE ONLY LOW 500 THE HD SIGNALS ARE 720 THEN FHD SIGNALS ARE 1080i AND THE i IS NOT A p IT STANDS FOR 'INTERPOLATED' WHICH MEANS COMPUTER GENERATED 1080 NOT THE REAL 1080 A REAL MONITOR CAN DO, AND IT WILL ONLY RUN 4K WHEN A 4K SIGNAL IS COMING INTO IT,................SO......................... ALL THE WEAK SIGNALS INTO A HIGH DOT HIGH RESOLUTION 4K TV ARE ONLY STRETCHED TO FIT THE SCREEN...SO SMALL SIZE TV'S ACTUALLY LOOK BETTER WITH THE LOW SIGNAL BAND WITH THAT MOST SHOWS RUN, HD720 LOOKS GREAT IT = MOST THE BAND WITH, 32 IS A NICE SIZE AND EVEN 24" IS SHARPER AT 720 BECAUSE IT HAS THE DOES MORE DENSELY PACKED TOGETHER IN A SMALLER SCREEN.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To the best of my knowledge, cable doesn't broadcast anything in 4K, only 1080, so the resolution from cable might not look as good as you hoped. I'm pretty sure Netflix broadcasts in 4k, but don't quote me on that. I watch mostly cable and find the picture to be pretty good. No complaints. It is better when watching Netflix or Amazon Prime, and Blu-Ray Dvd's although they are not in 4K either. Some cable channels are also better than others. For the money spent on this TV ($300) I am very satisfied. I didn't want to spend twice that much to get a TV that I might or might not notice a difference on. Unless you buy two TVs and have them hooked up side by side, I doubt you'd notice a difference. Only in the stores can you really see a difference.
