“would blue tooth headphones work with this tv? have a wireless set that has to be plugged in to headphone jack but it shuts the tv speaker off. not good if normal and hearing impaired people are watching at the same time”

It shuts it off bc you are connecting to Bluetooth it can only do one function at a time.
