“When I power up the TV it defaults to the smart tv apps. Is there a setting to have it default to live cable on HDMI 1 instead? Currently it requires going to input and scrolling down to select HDMI 1 which my 86 yr old mother cannot remember how to do.”

No there isn't, this is a bunk TV for that! I wish I could turn it on and Live Tv would show. This is an Amazon TV. I got jipped on it too. I searched menu for options but none available...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just press the mic button on the remote and tell it to go to hdmi1 and off it goes no problem. Much easier than scrolling through the settings.
