In theory it's compatible with any internet provider assuming that the port your plugging this into is configured to provide DHCP addressing. This takes an existing unsecure internet service and places your own router/firewall between your devices and the internet. It's perfect for hotels and captive portals as you only need to authenticate once and then you can join all your devices to it. If you travel and use a Chromecast this is a lifesaver.
