To ensure the best possible signal, it is important to make sure placement is as optimal as possible. Reducing obstructions and placing the router in a central location will help ensure your signal reaches the areas you need. That being said, for a 4,100 square foot home, we would instead suggest considering one of our Deco Mesh WiFi solutions, such as the Deco M5. Regards, TP-Link Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our house is 3500 sq ft including finished basement. It works fine, even in the bathroom in the far corner of the basement. It also works well anywhere in our half acre lot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We live in a 4200 sq. ft house and this router reaches everywhere in the house. But it is installed on top of the fireplace in the multi-story family room (that's where the cable connection is) so it is kind of very central location in the house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s possible but depends on placement and house construction. If this router can’t do it then it’s unlikely any other single router will be able to, ever. Please look for my review of this unit on best buy for additional info that may be of interest to you. Forced air cooling is essential.
