Bear with me. I measured internet speed and WiFi network speed, but had a couple of challenges. We have Gigabit internet, but it's currently having some issues. The problem lies with the ISP and the physical wiring, not the modem or router. If I run Speedtest on the router, I see download speeds of ~93Mbps and upload of 42Mbps. Running the same test from a device connected to the WiFi network, I see 94Mbps down and 42Mbps up. i.e. no loss of speed. Obviously, at higher speeds I would expect to see a greater disparity between the raw internet access speed at the router versus speed across the network. In the past, I believe I've seen router-side results of 800+Mbps and client-side results of 600+. If I test *just* WiFi speed, not internet speed, I consistently see 499-535Mbps. That is with 30+ devices connected in a relatively noisy environment (I overlap with multiple neighbors' networks). I'll update this answer with more numbers if I get Gigabit connectivity back. However, I will say this has been by far the fastest home WiFi setup I've ever had.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just did a speed test in our concrete storage room bat-cave getting 347.8 Mbps download and 728.7 Mbps upload speed. It varies depending how far you are to the Deco number of devices (we have 65 devices connected mostly home automation) and heavy usage (ie. having 5 TVs streaming at the same time) and obstructions (walls, windows etc.).
