A:AnswerThat would depend on whether your TV receives a better signal via Ethernet than WiFi from the nearest Deco unit. All of our Deco units are compatible with each other.

Also, be aware that the wall-wart is quite bulky (2.25" x 4" x 1") and there is no built in wall-mount option for the router. This combination made things a little tricky for me in a couple of places, but it's my only complaint with this device. Otherwise, it's been fantastic.

A:AnswerYes there is built in parental controls that let you make "profiles" for members of your family then set an age range (Kid, pre-teen, teen, etc) with suggested content blocking (you can customize this and add specific websites etc as well) then you can set total internet usage time (ie 6 hours a day) with weekdays and weekends separated so you can allow different times on school nights vs weekends. It also allows you to set a bedtime (again for weekdays and weekends). Then you choose which connected devices you want to include in this profile. So, for example, your kid "Joe" may have a cell phone, a tablet and a computer, you can add all of these devices under the profile "Joe" and set what time of day he can be on the internet (weekdays and/or weekends) as well as total hours used and designate a bedtime when they are no longer allowed online. Then if you have more kids, your other children can have a completely different profile with rules that fit their specific needs. I don't have kids and don't use this but did just make a test profile to double check and it's actually pretty cool feature. And I do not see anything that requires a subscription or add on cost to use it. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerIf you have a multi-pack. there is no designated router in the box. The first one you set up will be the router, and plugging in the Internet connection takes one of the 2 ports. The other is usable for your network. On all other Decos in your mesh, both ports will function as LAN ports.
A:AnswerNo, the Deco Mesh WiFi System cannot be meshed wirelessly with Google Mesh WiFi. However, our Deco Mesh WiFi Systems can be set up in Access Point (via Ethernet) in virtually any routed network to provide additional WiFi connectivity.

A:AnswerCan you please elaborate on which IP addresses you're referring to - LAN or WAN? It can certainly provide multiple LAN IP addresses to network devices with ease; however it is designed for a single WAN (Internet) connection and IP address, as most home WiFi routers are.
