We guess so, as it pans to our cuckoo clock. We recorded a large spider outside on our window at night, it was very scary! Usually we place the camera on the floor to watch our 100 lb German Shepherd sleep in the kitchen. She gets used to the camera panning back and forth. It catches anything that moves! We use the ipad to view her during the night! We love the pan camera. Easy to use and SD card is great no fees!

Its possible. Just make sure the sensitivity is high.
