• Not sure on the question, if you have WIFI at home, 5G does not matter, if this is cell phone, no 5G works better.

• This Kasa camera requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection to join your network. Please bear in mind that most Wi-Fi routers that support 5GHz will also support 2.4GHz. Please check your router's documentation to determine whether it also supports 2.4GHz, and how to enable it, if so.
