Hi Chris, Generally, smart light switches are designed to be used with non-smart bulbs. Conversely, smart bulbs are recommended for use with non-smart switches. This does not mean they cannot be used together — however, it is essential to keep in mind that if you use the smart light switch to turn off your Tapo smart bulbs, the bulbs will no longer be connected to the network and will lose all functionality until power is restored at the switch.
