- Answer No Tapo products can not be migrated into the Kasa App. However, Kasa devices can be migrated into the Tapo app and you use the same log in for both apps.

- Answer Tapo Care subscription is based on the number of cameras and if you are paying monthly or Annually. Plans for 1-3 cameras are available as individual plans. If you have 4-10 cameras your plan is an account base. The price on Account does not change and is the same price regardless if you have 4 or 10 cameras. QuestionPhone would control the cameras with wifi. I do not want my phone on the lesser 2g platform, as my phone works best at 5g. Tested with a tech. Concern is that it will all bog down with cameras + internet + occ streaming. Would I be stuck at 2.4? Not 5g?

- Answer As long as your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands simultaneously, you can connect the cameras on the 2.4GHz band, then connect your phone to the 5GHz band, and they will technically be on the same LAN; just using separate SSIDs. There should not be any performance or bandwidth reduction as long as your 5GHz compatible devices are connecting via 5GHz.
