• Yes, the wifi still functions as normal. All this does is provide a wired connection to the device you plug this into.

• My modem connects to one computer with an Ethernet cable, another with the TP-link, occasionally another via WiFi, two phones with WiFi, sometimes 2 TV via WiFi and when used the other 2 TV connect through WiFi. The multiple connections do not seem to cause any problems.
