Hi! If you have an existing router, and if the router has multiple LAN/Ethernet ports, you can connect a Wi-Fi access point (or another router that supports Access Point Mode) to your router via Ethernet cable to provide your home network with Wi-Fi. Please note that the specific product model you asked this question on (TL-PA7017 KIT) does not provide Wi-Fi. It is designed to expand Ethernet (wired) coverage using the existing electrical wiring in your home.
