Hi. This is Frank from TracFone Wireless. Unfortunately, it does not show the remaining minutes and service days. However, you can text the word BALANCE to 611611 to check the remaining minutes and DUE DATE to 611611 to check the service end date. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The prior version of this phone had an easy way to see the minutes on the phone. Unfortunately, they removed that easy way and made this almost impossible to use for their intended users - older people who want a basic phone. As someone pointed out, a user can’t text the word balance to 611611 and get the balance, but that is just too frustrating for people who just want a phone and don’t know how to text. I just have my parents call the customer service. That too is frustrating to navigate the voice menus, but at least they can eventually get it to work for them. So sort to inform you that they ruined this phone for those who just want a basic phone.

Yesterday (1 Sept 2022) a Tracfone salesman specifically told me on chat that it does show minutes balance and service end date on screen. He said that is a reason he recommended this phone to me. So, which answer is correct?
