While the Turtle Beach Recon 50 will have some natural noise canceling properties due to the earcup material, it does not feature any active noise canceling tech that would be able to cut out the noise of an airplane engine. With that being said, we would suggest taking a look at our premium Stealth Pro Headset, which DOES feature active noise canceling tech that will work great to cut out the noise of an airplane engine.
