Yes, it works for the PC. But you have to purchase the Windows adapter for PC. But it's totally worth it

You will need a PC with Xbox Wireless built in (rare) or the Xbox Wireless Adapter, available at Best Buy for $24.99 + tax. There is a little bit of setup to do, but after that, if works flawlessly. Switching between Xbox and PC requires only that you press the sync button on your console or PC, and then the sync button on the headset.
