• Yes, I use the headphones and I did download the app and update them from the app on my phone.

• You cannot. I believe that turtle Beach app is only for the Stealth 700's (upgraded version of the 600's). in order to update the headset to it's most recent firmware you have to plug the provided USB into your laptop and download the turtle Beach app on your laptop.

• You have to use a pc and attach the headset via the charging cable
