When you flip the mic up, does it mute the mic? null

Yes it does, along with a nice tone to tell you when it opens or closes the mic.

It dose for a while and then stops muting or unmuting the mic. You will have to push a button on the side when that happens. After 2 hours of searching I have found nothing that fixes the problem either.

No it does not mute but it does make it harder to her noises beneth the level of the mic
