The Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox's transmitter would be required for use on the Xbox. The headset would connect to the transmitter via a proprietary 2.4GHz wireless connection. The transmitter itself is equipped with a switch that can put it from "Xbox Mode" to "USB Mode". USB Mode would be the mode you would want to put the transmitter in when connecting it to another console for use.

Which kind of sucks as I have the regular 700 Gen2 as well and the range is better with the direct connect over the transmitter. But man, one headset vs needing 3 is a nice trade if the range isnt an issue for you.
