The Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX  would provide Bluetooth compatibility. This means that you would be able to use the headset with a smartphone or tablet. Bluetooth would not be available on the Stealth 600 GEN 2 MAX.

The Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX has gel-cooled, memory foam ear cushions. The Stealth 600 GEN 2 would have our standard fabric ear pads.

The Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX offers 48+ hours of battery life. The Stealth 600 GEN 2 would offer 40+ hours of battery life.

700 allows you to connect to you phone via Bluetooth as well. I love this feature as I can be connected to the xbox in a game and in party chat and if my phone rings, I can take the call. It lowers the in game volume, mutes the mic to the game chat, as it switches over to the phone conversation. As soon as I end the call, the game volume resumes to level and moves mic back to my party chat seamlessly. Well worth the extra money if you see yourself in that scenario.

What I have found is that the 700 can hold 3 different events simultaneously:
1- Gaming with 3D sound which is amazing
2- listen to music off your phone or console while gaming.
3-hold a phone conversation while the previous 2 abilities are taking place.
If you do not foresee ever doing all three activities simultaneously, then for you, the 600 will do just fine.
Though in a few months, you may “need” to have the connectivity the 700 affords, get it any ways, thus costing you even more…

the 700 max is able to be use for all console and pc. this is done using the donggle. the 600 is only able to be use on the xbox or playstation. depending on which version of the 600 you got.

The 600 has 48+hr battery but no Bluetooth connectivity. The 700 has 40+hr battery which is still amazing and you get 8hrs of battery with a 15 min charge. And the 700 can connect to your phone through Bluetooth. You can take calls or listen to music while you game.

600 actually has better battery life (48 hrs vs 40). 700 has better ear cushions supposedly and I believe Bluetooth

The 700 works via the usb dongle to connect on xbox but i also bluetooth so you may use it with all other devices. The 600 was not bluetooth
