• My wife's I-8 charges just fine. Make sure the phone is face up and centered on the pad.

• Yes.check the placement of the phone on the pad. Sometimes you have to have it sitting “just right”

• iPhone 8 or 8 plus are different sizes. No you need mophie for iPhone 8
