• A:Answer I charged it for about 20 minutes but there is really no need. It’s not at 100 percent but the battery life on it is incredible. I pretty much charge it when I think about it.

• A:Answer The main speaker is controlled by the Boom app. The other speaker (s) volume cannot be lowered or raised individually by the app. You can adjust the speakers prior to using b the app and so the balance is better as you move around your house or outside.

• A:Answer Hello ShyRonnie! I'm assuming you're talking about the UE Boom 2 speaker, right? We had a Mini Boom (but no Mini Boom 2) a while back (about 8 years ago) which was a smaller rectangle speaker, while the Boom 2 is only a few years old, and in a cylinder shape, much closer to the look of the Megaboom 3. Now in terms of sound power and features, the Megaboom 3 is definitely a step above from the Boom 2 in a few ways. You're going to get a more powerful sound, a deeper bass thanks to it's larger shape, up to 20hrs of battery life versus 15hrs for the Boom 2, a longer connectivity range of 150ft versus 100ft, and a better protection being certified IP67 versus IP7. And the good news is that you'll be able to pair them both together inside the Boom App should you want to!
