So, to be clear, you are saying that it does *not* make a loud noise when turning off? (I want to know if I should buy one, as I would also use it at night to get me to sleep.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the main purpose of this speaker is for use on your nightstand while you sleep, I don't recommend this product. I personally don't think the lowest volume setting is low enough for that purpose. The speaker does turn off automatically after a few minutes of inactivity, but it makes a LOUD sound when powering off (and you can't turn the sound off).
